I have found it to be very convenient in V13, to be able to enable instrument outputs, from the Inspector but it seems you can’t route (yet) so I am wondering does this mean that the VST Rack will become obsolete?
On Nuendo by the way but use it for music only, as of now.

and in Cubase, there are certainly many paths to different features. That is a good thing and workflow thing

What I think @emotive is talking about is the ability to route each output to different destinations. And indeed, it’s not doable on my end, using an instrument track. It is, with an instrument rack…
You can enable the “Direct Routing” Section either in the Inspector or in the Channel view and select the routing there.
It seems the field marked in green by @Martin.Jirsak always refers to the “main” channel of a VSTi, regardless which channel is chosen in the “audio channel out” field above it.
