I want to route Safari’s sound into Wavelab so I can see its response on the graphs but when I press record I don’t get VB in the input chooser,
You will have to create a bus as below assuming your Audio Interface has Virtual Outputs
Then Route your computer audio to Virtual Out
You will find the bus as input in the Montage and you can record
If you want to analyze while recording, you can record from the bus you created previously from the non-montage record option of WL
As PG wrote in an earlier post, you can also use the Default Record Window within the Montage by Cmd/Ctrl Key + Record Button and use the same bus as input and add recording to active track of Montage.
