Safe, easy upgrade to 12?

I don’t have 12, I have 11. Also I still see people here saying that 12 is not as stable as 11. Many people had a lot of problems upgrading to 12. I want stability and an easy upgrade without a dongle. Is that an unrealistic expectation? Yesterday I upgraded my FL Studio to the latest version with no problems so far, and none expected.

There is only one way to figure out if Cubase 12 or 13, (or any other program) will really work well on your system.

Install it and try it out.

Then you should avail yourself of the products that do what you want.

Sounds like you should stick with that, or stick with Cubase 11.

As a rule of thumb, never upgrade mid-projects. It’s always better to have the two versions during the transition period. The old to finish old projects and the new to start new work and templates from scratch. Most of the times projects translate well between versions but if you want to be 100% safe, that’s the way to go.

Ah, and be careful with Halion / Groove Agent libraries. Sometimes upgrading can mess things up on that end.

Yes, I know.

You will also see people saying that 11 is not as stable as 7.

Many people have a lot of problems.

For you, possibly.

Good for you! :sunglasses:
