I just bought the Cubase 15 Pro Upgrade and the old Compressor bugs is still present
And the Studio EQ preset is still misspelled “Reggea”, it’s an eyesore still…

If you mean by “compressor bug” that the output level is a bit higher with 50% mix, that is not really bug but a design decision with using an equal power algorithm for the crossfade. See here. You can debate whether that was the adequate choice for a compressor (linear crossfade seems more commonly used), but it is not really possible to change that now because it will result in a changed sound for older projects.
I wouldn’t call it a design decision TBH. I’d put my money on a design accident and not so much on an active design decision.
However, it doesn’t matter what it’s called - it will most likely not be changed for a good reason as you pointed out.

What I mean is, the first value box is by default in edit mode, this should be a selection by us, the users
