I have recently worked with my mobile small job rig and used the Cubase Elements SB dynamics, namely the gate.
I had some not familiar behavior with that.
My Question: is the Dynamic plug-in of Elements the same as in the other Cubase/Nuendo products?

If the plug-ins have the same name they are the same. Differences may come from different version number (i.e. newer version may contain bugfixes).

So, it is possible that this was just a “gate-critical” recording.
