Sample editor waveform display disappears in high zoom levels w/musical mode enabled

In the sample editor, when musical mode is enabled, the waveform display vanishes completely after a certain zoom level, showing a blank window.
Steps to reproduce:

  1. open an audio event in the sample editor. enable “musical mode” in the “Definition” tab in the inspector.
  2. increase the horizontal zoom level with the zoom slider at the bottom of the window.
  3. at some point, around half of the slider size, the waveform disappears.
  4. Disable “musical mode”. The waveform reappears.

This happens whatever tab in the inspector I am in, be it “Definition”, “audio warp”, “VariAudio” etc.

(Also, I cannot seem to upload images to this forum anymore, I always get a “Sorry, there was an error upload this file. Please try again” error message. Regardless of browser (Chrome, FF, Edge).)

Can anyone reproduce this?
