Sample Logic Ultra Sphere not being found by VST Manager to install

Hey everyone
I purchased Sample Logic Ultra Sphere and downloaded the package through Pulse.
This software installs within the Cubase environment, I already have Sample Logics Morphestra Ultra installed by this method.
The VST instruments Manager doesn’t recognise the instrument. I have spoken to Sample Logic who asked me to run CB14 in administrator mode without a result but they don’t have a clue why.
In my folder I have a folder named UltraSphereWindowsVST3. I tried to open this file with CB14 without a result. I also re-downloaded the files just to make sure they were not corrupt.
So, this is my last resort!
Any help would be appreciated.
Adam.

Hi,

Isn’t it Blocklisted?

Thanks Martin, no, I’ve checked that.

If it’s not blocklisted are you absolutely sure it’s not scanned and is in the plugin manager anywhere…do you see any scan of it on the startup screen?

In my folder I have a folder named UltraSphereWindowsVST3

Which folder exactly? And you mean you have a file or you have a folder as you obviously need the vst3 file.

Hi Grim, No, not when Cubase starts, it does the usual scans but doesn’t pick the VST folder.
See attached screenshots.

Hi,

It’s a folder, not the *.vst3 file.

Should the VST plug in file be in the same directory as the other files?

Again…what folder exactly are these files installed in??
How did you do the install…is there an installer you ran or it tells you to manually copy files??

The two screenshots show the folder that the files are housed. I ran Pulse as a downloader (you can see this link file), this downloads all the contents of the UltraSphere in the .SLA format plus the Folder containing the VST3PiF. The screenshot above shows the VST3 PiF inside the folder that was shown the previous screenshot if that makes sense!

What is the full path to the folder.
I need to know where you installed it, not what it looks like

Find attached screenshot of

Path File.

This is not the VST3 plugin folder…I suspect all you have done here is download it…didn’t it come with installation instructions?

Pulse downloader fyi.

EDIT: Sorry, thoiugh i’d already listed the correct vst3 plugin path but hadn’t. It’s C:/program files/common files/vst3… If the plugin isn’t in there then Cubase can’t scan it.
You could move the vst3 file to that location and it should scan but it probably won’t find the library when you open it. If it gives an option to locate the library when it doesn’t find it you can point it to your e drive. If it doesn’t thn you need to work out how to install it properly in the first place.

Just Checked and no, it didn’t give specific instructions for the ultrasphere.
The instructions for the Morphestra that I purchased at the same time was as follows:

Thank you for purchasing Morphestra ULTRA by Sample Logic!

To receive your download, launch the PULSE app on your computer and click “Add A Product”, then enter the Pulse Key from below and click “Redeem”. Pulse will guide you through the rest.

INSTALLATION: When the download has finished, open the plug-in on an instrument track in your DAW to complete installation. You will be prompted to authorize using your Pulse Key listed below.

Download the PULSE installer app here:

Move the vst3 to the proper vst3 folder and see what happens. You can’t make it any less non working.

The whole download?

Well I’m assuming you wanted the samples on your e drive not c drive?

Ohhh, so just the UltraSphere VST3 Plug in File?

Yep…as I say, it may not find the library but see if it opens at least and it may have an option to locate library
