Sample Modeling Solo Chamber & Ensemble Strings Expression Maps (2)

Hello everyone. I’m Pekamox. Today, I will share with you the comprehensive expression maps I created for Sample Modeling Solo, Chamber & Ensemble Strings. I developed some special playing techniques myself, and I will show them to you with images. If you like, you can also create and use these special playing techniques.
The special playing techniques I created are Portamento, Molto Vibrato, and Polyphonic. In Portamento, you can control the speed. If you want a slow portamento transition, you can find the Portamento entries in the expression map and lower the CC26 value. Or if you want a fast portamento, you can increase the CC26 value only for the Portamento entries in the expression map. The default value is CC26=64, which also controls the speed of legato transitions.
If you want slower legatos, you can also find the legato entries and duplicate them to enter different CC26 values for different note lengths. I set the default CC26 to 64 as it suits both general use and my personal taste.
In the expression map, you will see multiple CC values set under Natural as well. By default, Reverb, Early Reflections (ER), width, and similar settings are enabled. To add your own reverb, you need to change the CC values in the Natural section and disable Reverb, ER, distance, and similar effects.
Panning has been set for Chamber and Ensemble Strings. Again, you can change all these controls in the expression map under Natural.
I hope you like it and I’m really curious about your opinions. Enjoy!
