Sample rate changing to 48 stuff up audio files?

Hey guys my axe fx III requires me to go to 48kHz and im using aggregate devices (2 audio interfaces) with RME UCX and axe fx 3. I usually work in 44.1khz but now am kinda forced to go up to 48khz.
My question is that will my audio samples be affected whenever i import them into my cubase projects since there all in 44.1khz and also im using slate trigger 2 to trigger samples (via midi) will it also stuff that up by going up to 48khz?

Convert audio on import (resample to 48kHz).
For previewing - Cubase resamples and timestretches these files realtime as necessary. But only realtime, not re-writing them on the disc.
