Sample rate in exported MP3s

Hi,

I’ve been asked to export a project as a 48kHz MP3 file. However, despite my audio device being set to this frequency in Dorico, there is no way to choose the sample rate when exporting audio, and the resulting MP3 file in at 44.1kHz.

Am I missing something?

Are there no options for degree of compression/bit rate/depth for mp3 export. While mp3 files are certainly smaller than wav files, the ones coming from Dorico 5 are still much larger than necessary. I exported from Dorico then imported into Audition and exported again from there are got files 1/4 as large with no loss of quality.

The audio export will normally use the same sample rate as to what the audio device is currently set to.
If that is not the case with you, please do one audio export cycle and then from the menu choose Help > Create Diagnostics Report and send me that one. Thanks a lot
