This seems to be an issue with only certain WAV’s with Tempo follow enabled (eg Musical Mode), .WAV’s that are imported with the ‘musical mode’ enabled by default, as mentioned in this thread: Export an Audio Loop in Musical mode? - #5 by raino
Additionally ACIDized WAV’s also exhibit this same behavior.
I don’t have any issue with Slices or reloading the project, though, just the ‘Speed’ knob fails to initialize.
My steps are just:
1- create new Sampler Track
2- import an WAV with Tempo follow activated, (or ACIDized .WAV file) into Sampler Track
3- enable Audiowarp and adjust the speed knob
4- result is no change until the Sync is turned on and off again.
This issue is still present in C15.
Edit: note that I see different behavior when dragging from Explorer, or MediaBay. When dragging from Mediabay it seems to always fail, but not so with explorer. It seems that the ‘Sync’ is supposed to be enabled by default when it ‘works’.
