Hello, I have stored my audio files in different folders so that I can find them better (a lot of work). see picture 1
When I now archive a project, it no longer takes these files with it, great!!! picture 2
subfolder are ignored
Unfortunately, this issue is always trivialized. I want to transfer my archive to my second MacBook soon, and I already know it will cause a lot of problems (Media Offline). It would be so easy, though. A āLocateā function would be all right.
Iām sorry, but that is not true. We - users - allāre waiting ārelink assetsā that is promissed by developers, however using e.g. the same filename accross songs will always be source for errors (as discussed elsewhere with examples also compared with another applications). Also AFAIK developers built in a mechanizm that is looking missing assets in the project root folder structure (but maybe Iām wrong). At least give a try drop some files to corresponding subfolders and check if they are found or not.
To @kyru yes, this is how Save Archive works on quite every application (Logic, Cubase, etcā¦), they collect all assets to the āArchive structureā.
In my projects all files ( audio, midi,ā¦) have their specific names, I donāt have 2 files with the same name.
I can do without subfolders, it was just for the overview.
PS: The developers have so many other points that are more important than this and I have the feeling that the list of points is getting longer and longer.
So far, only one request on my part has been implemented in the last 3 years and some suggestions have never been followed up.
I am still using version 1.4.75, in my opinion version 2.xxx has a lot of issues that are not fully developed.
I was also informed several times that the program is very stable, but the program still crashes regularly.
Nevertheless, I think that this program has potential and I will continue to be happy and annoyed at the same time.

I agree. We donāt get basic requests and we donāt get answers. I sent two or three emails recently and the developers havenāt responded to any of them. I didnāt post here because Iām not interested in the answers of overzealous, know-it-all users.
We donāt even use version 2 at concerts, version 1 is much more stable.
Anyway, I still recognize the developersā hard work and thank them.
Thanks, but some of us are actually trying to help where we have experience.
Certainly donāt know it all, but there is some frustration when people donāt bother to search the forum for answers that are already there.
Hey @kyru that is not good. But as we see developers are priorising crash logs. So if you experience crash with any most recent versions, just create new thread, describe the circumstances and attach crash log.
Then why not send crash reports?
We have 20 pages of opposing reports confirming stability, and live use w/o problems.
This is the third vague and unspecified comment, which is both unfair and legally questionable.
We have supplied literally thousands of replies and changes in reaction to reports and feature requests, so it does seem unfair, donāt you think? Let us know specifics, not vague accusations, and weāll try to help best we can, as we always do.
