I’m doing a very intensive mix job in a film soundtrack for example. Then another project has to be opened and I lose all the history edit process.
Why don’t have an option to save this history with the edit files into a edit folder? So we could revert an edit after project being closed.
When final version, we could trash the History and free disk space.
I have to say; that’s a pretty good suggestion!
The only thing is just how many edits there would be that are saved. I would think that there’s an average amount of edits in general for engineers over the course of a day for example, and if you’re using the same project file for longer it obviously goes up significantly. Still though, drive space is cheap these days… so…
