I have a template that I use to record band rehearsals, and the goal is to have everything set up to record with minimal setup time. I don’t want to have to record enable all (20 or so) tracks every time. I thought the combination of setting “Enable Record on Selected Audio Track” and saving the project with all tracks selected was a good solution, but … I now have a whole set of recording with just keyboards because I happened to click that track at some point.
If there’s another way to open a project in “ready to record” mode I’d be interested to hear about that. If not, I think the way I’ve been doing it is way too delicate and error prone. I’d like to be able to save the project in such a way that when I open it the whole thing can’t be sabotaged by a single click.
