There used to a a keyboard shortcut to save an audio selection as a new file. I can’t find that. I think it was control+shift+E.
Does that feature have a new name, or is it missing? I know you can do it in the render dialog box, but that’s too many steps.

This function has been removed because 1) it was rarely used 2) and it can be done anyway with 2 shortcuts.
These shortcuts are:
- Shift + C to copy the selection to a new tab
- Control + S to save this copy

Thanks Philippe,
That will work, but if it’s at all possible to add it back, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have made some use of that facility in the past, and would expect it to be there.

When a new version comes out, they really should give a list of removed features.
