Save settings in engraving options does not work

I try to save the rest settings in engraving options, changing the “tacet al fine” to “shoe bar count”, using the button “Save as Defaults” . but it doesn’t work.

everytime when I open a new project it is back to “tacet al fine”. and when I click the button “reset to saved deafults” it goes back to “tacet al fine”. so, no chance to use the button “Save as Defaults”, it goes always back to factory settings..

Did you try to hit apply first? Or perhaps a permission problem.

Are you opening a template you’ve created in the past? If so, it is my understanding that the save as default will only work on 100% new projects, projects created from scratch. Since the template project already exists, it is not a new project and will not reflect the changes made.
