I am starting to have this problem when using my profire 2626 interface with cubase 5. I will open a project and it will play out of the left speaker. Everything in the interfaces virtual mixer is set correctly. I then go to VST connections and in the output are it says for the left: Output SW Return 1 and for the right Output SW Return 4. I change Output SW Return 4 to Output SW Return 2 and the sound starts to play out of both speakers. If I exit that project and open another one, it will default back Output SW Return 4 and playing out of the left. Is there a way to save the setting so that I don’t have to do this every time I open a project?
