For years I’ve been trying to find a way to do this, but I always have to go back to loading the VST, enabling+routing manually to all the audio outputs. It’s fine when working on an individual song/mockup but when I’m writing or producing an entire album having to go in and manually insert something like Kontakt and re-route everything as the previous track etc, gets really bothersome. Usually I just create a template that I use for every track and that works fine, but I have a huge backup drive full of old projects that I want to update, and manually adding/routing BFD/Superior, Kontakt, PLAY etc. to all 200+ projects will take forever…
Now that I use instrument tracks for almost everything I’ve gotten too used to track presets and all that, so when I gotta load a VST traditionally for the few applications where it works better, it’s a huge pain.
