I am no friend of audio clicks, so I have tried to experiment a little bit with the MIDI click option of the metronome in Cubase Essential 5.1. I got it to work nicely with some of Garritans Jazz drums. But now my problem is that there does not seem to be any way of saving the MIDI click settings with the project. Or, more precisely, everything else is preserved, but the selection of the VST under MIDI Port\Channel. So, everytime I reopen the project, I have to open the metronome settings and adjust this. Quite annoying, but I suppose there is no way around this?
Known issue. I program a MIDI track for my click.
