Hi Brian , I found this very useful , theres a lot to learn about Media bay in General as I am only 6 months into Cubase 12 after return to it 20+ years later 
I have also been experimenting with filing systems for HALion 7 ( which I just bought) and found this - Deleted .fxp and Program still loading?
which seems odd to me
