Scissor Key Command Option+Click does not works regularly

Hello,
I’m experiencing that sometimes the KeyCommand OPTION+Click that allows to turn the pointer in scissor to cut on the fly doesn’t works, the cursor randomly don’t change in scissor symbol and I’m not able to cut a part. I need to wait and in the meantime try to zoom in/out, change track selection and so on. Than it start to work again.
What’s happens?
I’m on MacBook Pro 2017, OS Monterey 12.0.1

macOS 12 is not officially supported yet.

Do you have the Combine Selection Tools option enabled, please?

Yes, combine selection tool is enabled

Now that Monterey is officially supported, will be fixed the problem I mentioned in the post?
