Hello, another bug for the collection.
I’ve been trying to cut my master folder, at bar 41.
Cubase refuses to cut it. I can cut anywhere else it seems but not at my chosen place.
What I have just found, after doing a screen recording, is that it appears to be just the folder that it won’t cut - it does actually cut the parts, but the folder at that location only does not display as being cut. So I cannot move the (master) folder after bar 41 (the whole purpose of cutting in the first place).
The weirdest thing is that as I say I can cut anywhere else and I see the folder being cut. But at my chosen place, bar 41, no.
Hi,
Isn’t the track or any of the children track or the Folder Part out any of the children Part/Event locked by any chance?
Hi Martin
Thanks - but I think it was very unlikely. I don’t lock parts, and although it’s possible to do it accidentally I was able to cut to maybe a beat or two either side of bar 41.
In the end I moved the parts manually.
Seeing your reply made me try it again at the “new” bar 41, and the scissors worked.
My guess is that for Cubase the cut had been done but the visual state was not updated - of course I don’t really know; it’s just a guess that something like that happened, because all the parts seemed to have been cut at bar 41; it was just the folder that appeared uncut and the part to the right-hand side could not be moved.
From memory I closed and reopened the project and the same behaviour was there.
