My score for my big band chart is messed up and I don’t understand why. Here are two examples. ex. 1 is all scrunched up and ex. 2 is how I want to see the music while working on it. I finished ex. 1 last night and it looked like ex. 2 and I woke up this morning and ex. 1 looks all scrunched up.
It looks like the page size (or orientation) has changed. Check Layout Options.
Okay, better question, how do I make them look the same? I tried layout options. Can’t figure it out.
Do you remember what the page size was? There should be a backup or autosave version, which may be slightly earlier, which you can either go back to and carry on from there; or just get the values you need.
Dorico doesn’t normally randomly change things, so I suspect you pressed a button, such as Reset to Saved Defaults, or Reset to Factory. Personally, I have a terrible problem with cats on the keyboard, pressing buttons.
Start by showing signposts, if you are not already.
The staff (rastral) size is too large for the page size on your vertical/portrait version.
I’m pretty sure the OP doesn’t want the portrait version…
