Score editor includes hidden midi notes

I’ve just spent a long time working out why the score editor was displaying notes that weren’t shown by the midi editor. It turns out that if you ever shorten an event on a track (by dragging the lower left or right squares in the event inwards), and thereby hide any notes from view, then these hidden notes are still included in the score, potentially clashing with the notes in the adjacent event(s). Seems a bit odd.

Is there some quick command I’ve missed to cleanup (remove) these hidden notes before using the score editor?

There’s a MIDI Function called Delete Notes that lets you remove short notes.

Bonus tip: I’m guessing it took you awhile to figure out what was happening. The MIDI List Editor can be real helpful when confronted by odd midi stuff.
