This seems to have something to do with the display resolution. So my next question is can this be automated?
Alright figured it out. You have to cut that section of midi apart from the rest and change the display setting. Yay!!!
You do not have to cut out MIDI parts.
Just apply appropriate Display Quantize settings to specific sections of the score in the Score Editor.
