Score layout problem

Has anyone else experienced this one? Maybe even with a solution?

When I put an open-repeat at the start of a stave, Score lines up the immediately following notes with the repeat sign’s dots. Can’t seem to do anything about it. If I try moving the bar line it moves the stave. If I try moving the notes it changes their timing position. I am admittedly seeing this in a drum score and haven’t noticed if it happens elsewhere.

Hopefully you can see what I mean here:

Any ideas?

Rob

Hmmm… I’m not seeing that problem here… the spacing is correct.

If I try moving the bar line it moves the stave. If I try moving the notes it changes their timing position.

You should be able to move those first notes, purely graphically, using the Hand tool (or set up a Graphical Nudge Key Command).
I don’t think it is possible to move the barline itself, graphically, however.

It doesn’t seem to happen on every open-repeat. More likely if it’s the first bar on a stave, but not exclusively.

I agree you can move (i.e. squash up) the notes with the hand tool. But wouldn’t you expect auto-layout to space this correctly everywhere?

Same problem here.

It’s still happening…
