I was wondering about that too. Makes sense. But the regedit file doesn’t point to current fonts, which is why I posted.
Thanks very much for the posts - much appreciated.
Yesterday the results were:
- Install using the Update Pro 9 file on a fresh W10 system - fonts work.
- Uninstall Cubase vs 9 from existing system and replace with complete Pro 9 (10.5GB zipped) - score still broken.
- Replace fonts with known working fonts - score not working.
- Hide all plug-ins - score still not working.
- Install Pro 9, then Halion and GrooveAgent 4 onto fresh system - score stops working at some point.
Currently I have a fresh system install and I have installed just Cubase Pro 9 (full install) and the score is working. I am starting to think that it’s a clash with a Steinberg program - perhaps even Halion 6. I will try the fixes here, but it does take quite a while to re-image the drive and my time is limited. At the moment I intend to keep installing until I can work and see where that leaves me.
