Score 'no overlap' question

Hi,

I’m currently learning to use the score editor.
There’s a problem, when I use ‘no overlap’ it actually shows everything like I want it to be, except for the fact that the length of the ‘no overlapped’ notes is not correct anymore.

As you can see on this image, coming from the Cubase manual page 1159, you see 4 quarter notes overlapped/linked.
In the no overlap example, this note turns into a single quarter note and that’s the problem.

Anyone an idea how to solve this?

Okay, it seems it’s actually really easy. Polyphonic voicing does the trick.
So typical, I search for the solution and after a while I give up and ask it on a forum… and not even an hour later I found the answer :slight_smile:

Anyway, if there’s anything else someone would like to add or advice on this matter, please let me know.
