my score has an instrument written in tenor clef (as in the original). I wan’t to provide a part in alto clef, so it’s easier for the player to read. I changed the clef in the part, but it also updated in the score. Which would be a good workaround? Thank you for help.
A possible workaround would be to duplicate that player and removing the duplicate from the full score layout. It isn’t optimal if you still have to make changes in the text, but if it’s finished, it’ll be fine. I believe these kinds of things are hardcoded into the Instrument’s definition, which we can’t edit as of now.
