Scoring Express templates / fonts in Dorico iPad

Hi,

I use the fantastic Scoring Express templates from Notation Central (and highly recommend them!) both in Dorico and Sibelius.

In Sibelius, when I open a project created on my mac using those fonts/templates, the iPad version of Sibelius shows everything correctly and the extra fonts are seamlessly integrated.

When trying to do the same with Dorico (so opening a file on the iPad that was created on the Mac), loads of elements don’t get recognised and the project is not usable. I was trying to give Dorico iPad a go, even just to access and read through some of the projects and doing some mild editing, but since I’m so invested into using the SE products, this is I making it quite difficult to do.

Is this something that you can fix in future releases?

Many thanks

Best

Here’s an example of how chord symbols are displayed on the iPad:

It’s certainly on the Dorico development team’s radar:

As the person that devised the Dorico version of the Scoring Express templates, I’m afraid it’s not something I (or my Scoring Express colleagues) have control over, but it would certainly be possible for the Dorico development team to install all the fonts used in Scoring Express templates - we intentionally use open/free fonts in order to make that legally simple.

Thanks a lot!

It would be awesome, and hopefully something not too difficult to implement for the team.
