Scripting the Audio Montage Window

This might be a brief answer but does anyone know if it’s possible to script recording in the Audio Montage window? I’ve looked through both the “Scripting” and “ActiveX” documentation and can find recording mentioned for the “Recorder Window” but nowhere else?

if it possible, can the “File properties for Recording” dialog also be scripted?

Not sure what you mean by “script recording”. But you can’t “record your actions to generate a script”.
The script function exposes a couple of high-level functions, like rendering.
You can press the help button of the script window, to know all functions.
