SD3 + GGD midi routing

Hi,
I was wondering how you route multiple instruments to a single midi track.
So my scenario is this;
I have superior drummer 3 (SD3) and Kontakt 7 with Get Good Drums (GGD). I want to be able to have a single midi file and activate both instruments with the same mapping. for example C0 activates the kick in SD3 & GGD…D0 activates the snare in SD3 & GGD…etc…

Conversely…is there a way to add a sample into the sampler and if I press say C0 at 127 velocity in original MIDI, it activates this sample? I want to use it as a layer technique for example only when snare is 127 velocity It then activates the sampler snare (for bigger impact)

You can use the MIDI Sends to route the track to the multiple outs.

Maybe the sampler track isn’t the right tool for this task. I tried it some time ago, and couldn’t achieve what you are trying to do.

I would try to build an own preset for Groove Agent that contains my samples to layer it to other sounds.
And of course, you can use a different instrument for it, Battery or Backbone, for example.
