Search key commands by typing shortcuts

I hope Steinberg will implement this feature to search key commands by just typing shortcuts in the search field like Reaper does.

That way, you’ll be able to know if the desired shortcut combination is already assigned or not like this

Also, in case you forgot the name of the action you can still search and find it by typing a shortcut.

You’re searching for “M,” not “Shift+M” in that video. If you type in the text “Shift+M” in the search windows, “Mute Events” pulls right up.

Man… I’m not even talking about that command in the GIFs. I’m just showing examples. Just read the context

Well, you WERE talking about that because that’s the GIF you posted. I did read the context, and replied identifying both the error and the fix.

If identifying that the way you search for “Shift+M” usage is to search for “Shift+M” upsets you, then there’s not much more I can do. Have a great day, man.

If you try the key command, it gets highlighted in the list.

I was typing in the search field and the result didn’t come up. But if you type the shortcut in Type in Key field it indeed shows you the already assigned commands. I overlooked it. Thank you!
