Searchable shortcuts for key commands

Hello,
it would be really good to be able to search the key for a command like “cmd+opt+4” etc.
sometimes I don’t know what the name of the action or thing is: bottom window, lower window, panel etc but I do remember that it is 8 and I need to put it on “!” (exemple of french keyboard).
if the keys are searchable you can search both ways.

true… and then search in safari…

but it doesn’t really work… it is using sometimes the signs themselves é ç & etc and sometimes you have to write out in letters the english word for that special character… (what is ampersand??)
you can scan it visually but not really rely on finding things…
