Select insert note with shortcuts key in score editor

Hi,

I was wondering if there is a shortcuts key for selectiing “insert note” in the scoreeditor?

Hi and welcome,

Do you mean, if you want to Insert Note, and you select the length (whole, 1/2, 1P4, etc.) Note?

Sorry, there are no Key Commands for these Notes.

For the Insert Note tool you can assign a Key Command to “Tool 4”

To select the length you can assign key commands in the Quantize section of the Key Commands Window.

To actually insert notes you can use the “Computer Keyboard Input” - though this mode is not for everyone!
