It often happens when I have to select a big number of audio events (montage; usually “from cursor to end”)
In Cubase 6, the delay was virtually 0. Cubase 8- almost 10 seconds in similar big projects.
Moving selected events by mouse dragging in numeric field:
Cubase 6- smoothly in real time
Cubase 8- in a “jumping” way, with noticeable delay.
Is there a chance this is going to be sorted out?
