I usually work in multitrack editing with acoustic music. It often happens that I need to apply a correction at the same location in multiple clips within the multitrack environment. For example, a tap or a cough. In every clip in the timeline I have to correct it.
I then have to select all these clips individually and load them into RX, after which I can merge them into one file (composite view in RX). After that, I have to apply the correction once instead of, say, 6 or 7 times.
My question is whether there's an easier way to do this, and by that I'm referring to selecting multiple clips simultaneously in Wavelab so they can be loaded into RX all at once.
And if this option isn't available, is it possible that it could be implemented in the future? That would save me a lot of time.
There is currently no way to achieve what you would like in a direct way.
However, if your clip is based on an audio channel from a surround file, then if you open the clip in the audio editor, you could select the region you would like and send it to RX or Spectral Layers.
