I bought Cubase 7 with dongle and CD pack years ago and have been upgrading ever since. I just upgraded to Cubase 13 pro from 11 Pro and I’m planning to sell the 11 pro with the E-licenser dongle.
I know if I remove the registration from my account the new user will be able to register the software.
My question is…
Will the new user be able to upgrade to 13,14 version in the future without any issue?
No, that is not possible. Have a look in your eLicenser Control Center and you will see that your Cubase 11 Pro license has been marked as updated and therefore can not be updated again.
To be clear, if you upgraded not bought the new version at full price then you are not entitled to sell your old license. You legally have one license that you have updated, not a different license for different versions.
The only reason it may seem physically possible is because of the elicenser change.
