sorry if i’m being dim, but i just can’t work out how to set up a default fade in the montage. it was easy in wl6 - choose the shape and click set as default. have hunted around but can’t find it. any clues gratefully received

i’m guessing there’s no way to do this - lots of views and no ideas!
The focused clip tool window has more options for the fades than the context menu has. They include the ability to save presets, and among the preset possibilities is save as default (two versions - one for normal fades, and one for cross-fades).
