I’m wondering if there is a setting in Cubase so that when I hit a key on my keyboard to trigger a snyth, say an arp pattern, it will wait and only trigger the arp when it is in time. Much like in Ableton when a you play a track, if you hit play on a sample, it will flash and only trigger once it would be in sync when played.
I ask this because if you are playing live and wanted to play a new part such as an arp, having something like this would ensure the notes you played were at least in time. I hope this makes sense. I’ve never played live before and am just learning aobut it all now.
