When i put the mouse cursor on a imported midi track ( dragged ) than i see coming a shaded surface on the midi track–> what is this meaning of the shaded surface ?

It sounds like you have 2 overlapping midi events on the same track.
I could not reproduce it now anymore
But overlapping midi events is not a unusual thing in Cubase?
It doesn’t happen when I import midi, but you could attach your midi-file here so we can see what happens here maybe?
That’s gonna be difficult, because i can remember me, that the shading occurs when i imported from the composer a midi into Cubase.
I made a midi phrase (random) of a few bars in the composer and drag it into Cubase.
If i can reproduce it again is unsure, but i will look at it
