Sharing keyboard shortcuts between computers

I use Dorico on two computers. Is there a way to transfer my custom Key Commands between them?

I suppose you could copy the keycommands.json file to your new computer’s directory. But I don’t if that’s safe, and even if it was, I would make a backup of it first! So I think you should wait to see what the higher powers say about that.

Nobody on the team has ever suggested it’s a bad idea, as far as I’m aware.
Go to Users/your-username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico 2 (Mac) or %APPDATA%\Steinberg\Dorico 2 (Windows).
Then copy the file keycommands_en.json, where “en” is the two-letter code for the language of your keyboard. Paste it into the same folder on your other computer.
The file is cross-platform: Cmd will automatically be substituted for Ctrl (and vice-versa).

Yes, should be fine to copy it onto another machine, just back it up first for safety.

Brilliant, thank you both!
