I am trying to make some kind of graphic notation and want to shift the single notes freely to their respective position. All I can find is, shifting them in relation to each other, which makes it hard to get the exact result I want. Especially because the bar lines keep shifting along.
Is there a way to move ONLY ONE note, while leaving all the others, and the bar lines, in place?
In Engrave mode, instead of dragging the square handles (which adjust all notes and measure sizes), click on the square to transform it into a round handle. Then, use the round handle to freely reposition the selected note without altering the surrounding spacing relationships.
