Should DOP have Fade In-Out protocol to avoid pops clicks?

Was thinking about this and isn’t there a potential for clicks/pops depending on the type of plugin being used in DOP? Some EQs have “ringing”, or just changes in amplitude around the starts and ends of the event?

You could just enable Cubase Autofades.
