I’ve been using Halion Sonic SE and am considering upgrading to Halion 4. While I don’t need to go too in depth in terms of adjustability of parameters, I do want to expand my range of sounds, particularly piano and woodwind programs which i find are somewhat limited in SE. Would it be worth investing in 4?
Well, if you are unsure about upgrading to Halion 4 you can upgrade to Halion Sonic first. I did this (Halion Sonic SE to Halion Sonic).
I think it is very good (and I bought it using a 50% offer).
