Searching the manual for measure numbers, I can’t fine this option but am sure it must exist. It also seems to be absent from the Engrave Options window.
How can I set Dorico to display bar (measure) numbers at the beginning and end of every multi-bar (multi-measure) rest in a player’s Part, by default?

You can’t automatically show bar numbers (which is the term Dorico uses, rather than “measure”) before/after multi-bar rests but you can show ranges of bar numbers on multi-bar rests in addition to changing the frequency of bar numbers in each layout.
To change the gap between multi-bar rests and their bar number ranges, that’s in Engraving Options > Rests > Multi-bar Rests.

Is it possible to adjust the vertical position of bar numbers underneath multi-bar rests? The bar numbers appear to use the position of the bar number beneath the tail of the treble clef in the first bar which creates quite a bit of white space between the staff and the bar numbers under the multi-bar rests. It would be nice to be able to adjust that vertical distance.
