Shutting off Plugins (not just bypassing) on an insert strip

Sorry Reco29, I’m just navigating this ‘solution, like, etc.’ system, which I think I get now, but not without mistakes. So you may have gotten credit for Nico5’s work, but I’ll know better next time. I did go back and credit him with the solution just now. Thank you for bringing this up. Someone used the term ‘silly’…it’s not silly. It’s important to recognize our fellow forum users who do this just so they can help. Plus, this is a nice forum to be part of. All the best.

Additional Details: Reco29, FYI, I took your Logical Editor preset, which I’m now using all the time. and I reversed it…meaning, I use it to turn all the channels back on with one keyboard shortcut. I just went into the preset in the Logical Editor and for all 16 slots that say ‘disable’, I changed it to ‘enable’. (saved it as a separate preset of course) This means, if I’ve turned off a dozen or so channel inserts all at once, I can now turn they all back on with one keyboard shortcut. This came in handy when I came to needing a vocal overdub and needed to lower the latency for it. I just turned off all the inserts, did the overdub, and then turn them all back on. Super fast. Thanks again.

I am glad that it works out so well :+1: Still, it is not me who came up with the Logical Editor Preset - it’s @Nico5

I use it the same way you do, though:

Thank you for this update, that’s very considerate of you! I’m sure @Nico5 is happy to hear that his presets turned out to be so helpful :+1:
