If I sideline a track, wavelab deletes my markers. If I un-sideline the track, the track returns but the markers do not. Is this the expected behavior?
Happy new year!

It works as expected here with the exception of the ‘temporary marker’. All other markers remain after sidelining, saving, closing and reopening Wavelab. v12.0.51 (build 15)
If some markers are bound to clips, typically title markers, then they get hidden because their related clips get hidden (case of @mbean)
If the markers are attached to nothing, they remain in place (case of @djtricky)
This is the normal behavior.
@PG1 That makes sense but if i un-sideline the track, the markers do not return properly. Is this normal behavior? Specifically CD Index Markers. Here is a screen recording of the behavior I am getting – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fbbPL31bxrg
When I sideline the two tracks, the markers disappear (normal behavior). When I unsideline the tracks, the markers do not return or return partially. For DIGI 1, 0 markers return. For DIGI 2, the markers return to the timeline but are absent from the marker list at the top.
Previously the markers did not return at all for both tracks and I had to remark the entire session. Thoughts?
I now see the behavior @mbean mentions. Some CD boundary markers do not return after 2 or more tracks are sidelined and then recovered. Also, CD boundary/splice marker info disappears in the Album tools window and the Marker tools window.
I see what you mean now. In fact, the markers are recovered, but they are not displayed in the tool window. They would be displayed when reopening the montage.
This will be fixed in the next Wavelab version.
Thanks @PG1.
Just to note:
The markers only recovered for one of the tracks –DIGI 2 (they reappear in the montage window but not in the tool window). DIGI 1 did not recover any markers when un-sidelined.
