hi all !
next silly question
when you add audio tracks to a new project they are visible in the mixer … i have noticed in the first 8 tracks only there is a white boundary in the cell space just above the track number … what is that supposed to indicate , ??? it appears to have no sonic function and has no editable params linked to it … 
forgive the dumb nature of this question … but curiosity burns

do you have any MIDI interfaces connected that deal with volume faders ???
usually the borders are to indicate which faders are controlled by the MIDI controller.
