Why does dorico does this and how to keep consistency in this flow. Also, I have 26 flows in this project. Can select different rastral sizes for each flow? Thank you.
What do the frame fullness indicators say in the lower left corners? Most likely, the page on the right is over the first threshold in Layout Options > Vertical Spacing > Vertical Justification, causing Dorico to space out all the staves, and the page on the left is under it. If you always want Dorico to apply justification, you can change that first setting to 0.
If you start each flow with a system or frame break. then you can set a space size in the Properties panel.
Dorico calculates the vertical space dynamically to avoid collisions, just a few ledger lines which require more space can make the difference.
If the number of staves is always the same an alternative is to adjust the vertical justification threshold.
Go to Engrave Mode and get the lowest percent value of all pages in the bottom left corner, which represents the fullness of the page. Then go to Layout Options > Vertical Spacing > Vertical Justification and adjust the upper value to a lower amount than the minimum fullness.
Thank you so much!
Thank you very much!
